What have we done together so far?

The first year of partnership involved a number of activities, including the EYP developing a position on pensions in Europe during its International sessions in Thessaloniki in 2024 and the Hague in 2025.

Europe’s pension crisis: young people demand fairness and propose reform

Insurance Europe also held a one-day innovation lab in partnership with the EYP during its 15th International Conference in Brussels on 5 June 2025. It gathered nearly 60 young people from 22 European countries who discussed and presented their expectations of the insurance industry.

➡️ 82% are willing to pay more for better coverage/benefits

➡️ 82% feel they did not receive enough financial education at school to make informed insurance decisions
